Jeannie's Favorite Ceramic Brushes are light-weight creative tools.  The Ion Smoother is ceramic and heats enough to straighten the hair poker straight, like a flat iron.  It does not curl.  The bristles are spaced far apart and pull the hair across the ceramic heated surface, straightening the hair as it moves.
